Nicki Minaj Covers Teen Vogue – June/July

On stands from May 2st, the June/July cover of Teen Vogue features Nicki Minaj.
She poses wearing a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label corset with a Chris Benz long-sleeve top, $225 and a Carrie Bradshaw-esque tutu.

Nicki on her teen years:

“I would never want to be a teenager ever again. You know, adults feel like teens don’t have problems. I know first-hand that teenagers aren’t always the nicest people. They can be cruel and tough, and they can isolate you.”

Nicki on the music industry:

“People treat this business like it’s high school. It can absolutely feel like one big popularity contest, and you know what? I can’t be bothered. I can’t allow myself to play ridiculous games with grown adults in the industry. I can’t be nice to someone just because they’re hot right now. I can’t do it.”

Nicki on staying positive:

“I used to read the bad things people said about me. Then I asked myself, Why am I reading that when I have millions of people saying great things? You cannot give negativity power.”
